I've forgotten how we first made contact five and three years ago but it was no problem.

The interview was fun with an engaging older man who went out of his way to recognise we had probably never had anything to do with his organisation and even the copious paperwork we had prepared for outside employment/other income was hardly needed ("We don't argue with IRDs assessment of your tax classification").

To be honest I was bloody impressed with our treatment in such a foreign environment.

JCJChttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00875768024598278750noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8442430064359197279.post-25790426201628413372015-07-03T17:05:55.442+12:002015-07-03T17:05:55.442+12:00I helped my partner with hers. The interview consisted of us sitting there while the nice person verified that each entry on the printed form corresponded to the entry in the field on her computer.

When it was my turn I went round to see them. The first time it was 4:20 and they had gone home. There was a 4 week waiting list for interviews and I was travelling, so the man on the counter said bring all the forms and identification in and he would verify them so payments could start. I did that and they didn't. When I did get to see them a month or two later the payments were started but not backdated to my birthday. That took a lot of further argument.davidhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00312282243883488495noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8442430064359197279.post-49921061773122228942015-07-01T13:08:03.967+12:002015-07-01T13:08:03.967+12:00Or indeed want to....Or indeed want to....Jigsawhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13906156865367357834noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8442430064359197279.post-1565950248148862992015-06-30T13:27:59.947+12:002015-06-30T13:27:59.947+12:00Actually, when I finally penetrated the citadel, t...Actually, when I finally penetrated the citadel, the woman who dealt with me was personable and efficient - though I'm sure you're right when you say I won't see her again. Once there you will get someone who will earnestly tell you that they are now your own personal client officer or whatever the current term is....and of course you will never see or hear of them ever again.Jigsawhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13906156865367357834noreply@blogger.com
