But Labour and the Greens are committed to criminalizing views that might offend designated favoured groups (it will likely still be legal however to shriek "OK Boomer" at anyone over 60). Their draft law will probably we revealed after the Royal Commission on the Christchurch shootings reports. As a good international socialist Ardern is a globalist, obedient to the UN as an infallible fount of authority. The UN, having sadly failed in its original purpose of maintaining international peace and security, now passes the time heavily engaged in social engineering. Over the years New Zealand like many countries has signed up to all sorts of bien pensant UN conventions and protocols. The trick is these agreements, once they are ratified and enter into force, are largely supervised by "expert" committees comprised of far left academics, like our Human Rights Commissioner, who delight in finding fault with western democracies while turning a blind eye to the most appalling abuses elsewhere. So the average citizen in a country like New Zealand has no hope, really.Odysseushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04745489060434244478noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8442430064359197279.post-41711453150121399502020-02-20T20:08:25.865+13:002020-02-20T20:08:25.865+13:00Your readers may appreciate a hyperlink to the jud...Your readers may appreciate a hyperlink to the judgment of Knowles J:

https://www.judiciary.uk/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/miller-v-college-of-police-judgment.pdfRuaridhhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08199119759439997274noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8442430064359197279.post-80384524780859684852020-02-20T19:11:31.446+13:002020-02-20T19:11:31.446+13:00Thanks for bringing this story to our attention. Liberties that are not vigorously defended are quickly lost, and can only be regained at great cost and through a good deal of human suffering.

The judges ruling in the UK is most welcome, but as Aristotle reminds us: "One swallow does not a summer make". May this to be the first of many similar victories.

Brendan McNeillhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02741263914308842497noreply@blogger.com
