Hold the front page!

Stop the presses! Old people more likely to die!

This from an Agence France-Presse report in today's Dominion Post:

In 2011, those aged 65 and over accounted for nearly two-thirds of all deaths in the United States, according to statistics from the Centre for Disease Control.

Don't laugh- from what I can see and hear recently, most of the university world is awash in grants made to research the bleeding obvious and come to the conclusion that is always inevitable and blindingly obvious!

Thank goodness I am not in that age bracket. I am now going to take up sky diving, dancing on the road after parties, leaving my seatbelt unbuckled in my car, abstaining from any form of "protection" whatsover, forgetting any medical and dental checkups.
I am going to give the fingers to bikies, and going to tour the Middle East and African without insurance or a care in the world.
Hey ho,hey ho.. a carefree life I go..

And surf Pipleine, and tackle all the Whitelock brothers, ride a komodo dragon, run with the bulls in Spain, climb Everest, swim with the sharks, play with the snakes, laugh at the Mafia, and go over Niagara Falls in a barrel, play Russian roulette, become a dissident in Russia, stand up for religious freedom in Iran, take food into North Korea, light my own fireworks on Guy Fawkes! Yay.....
